Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and respond to security incidents during weekend shifts
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and generate comprehensive reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls
- Stay current with threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
- Participate in security drills and incident response simulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations
- Valid CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency with network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Strong knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Experience with incident response protocols (e.g., NIST SP 800-61)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
