Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms for 24/7 threat detection and incident response during weekend shifts
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents using advanced tools like Splunk and Darktrace
- Implement firewall configurations and IDS/IPS rules to mitigate weekend attack vectors
- Collaborate with global SOC teams during cross-continental threat containment operations
- Generate actionable intelligence reports for executive stakeholders on emerging weekend attack trends
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on weekend-shifted systems
- Lead incident response playbooks during critical weekend security breaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years SOC/NOC experience with weekend shift exposure
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Proficiency in network forensics and malware analysis tools
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure weekend incidents
