Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms 24/7
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents during weekend coverage
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on critical systems
- Document security events and maintain incident response logs
- Collaborate with on-call engineers during escalated incidents
- Conduct weekly security audits of cloud infrastructure
- Develop playbooks for weekend-specific threat scenarios
Qualifications
- 3+ years in SOC operations or cybersecurity analysis
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and compliance
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent required
