Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools to identify potential threats.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and respond to security breaches with minimal downtime.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and manage patching cycles for internal and external systems.
- Support compliance audits, including NIST, SOC2, and FedRAMP requirements.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement robust security architectures and protocols.
- Develop and maintain documentation for security policies and incident response plans.
- Conduct regular security awareness training for staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Active Top Secret or Secret clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is highly preferred.
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or systems administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are required.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with incident response frameworks and forensics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
