Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to secure network boundaries.
- Investigate suspicious activities and execute forensic analysis to contain breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Proficiency with threat intelligence platforms and security hardware.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
