Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate response protocols
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Generate security reports and executive dashboards
- Collaborate with IT teams on security hardening initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+ or CEH certification
- Proficiency in NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
