Responsibilities

  • Monitor & Detect: Continuously monitor Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to detect, analyze, and respond to potential cyber threats and security incidents in real-time.
  • Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, ensuring minimal impact on business operations and rapid recovery.
  • Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and risk assessments to identify weaknesses in our network architecture and software systems.
  • Security Controls: Configure, manage, and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and access controls to enforce security policies.
  • Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, and ISO 27001 through regular audits and policy reviews.
  • Security Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and phishing awareness.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of security events and remediation activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
