Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems 24/7 to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Investigate security incidents using forensic tools and techniques
- Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security incidents and disaster recovery
- Generate detailed incident reports and vulnerability assessments
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
- Participate in penetration testing and security audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and security architectures
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites
