Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents including malware, ransomware, and APT attacks
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and compile detailed incident reports
- Implement and maintain security controls including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection
- Collaborate with global security teams during critical incident response scenarios
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of network infrastructure
- Develop and optimize security automation scripts for threat detection and mitigation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with focus on incident response
- Active CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in security tools: SIEM platforms, Wireshark, Metasploit, and Nessus
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and collaboration
