Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms during night shift hours
- Investigate and respond to security incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing on client networks
- Document security events and maintain detailed incident response reports
- Collaborate with global security teams during cross-continental incidents
- Implement zero-trust architecture principles for cloud and hybrid environments
- Stay current with emerging threats through continuous threat intelligence analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and cloud security
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure night shift scenarios
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis techniques
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts during critical incidents
