Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms 24/7 for security anomalies and threat indicators
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Conduct forensic analysis of security breaches and generate incident reports
- Implement and maintain security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during security drills and real incidents
- Document security procedures and maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expert knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Proficiency in network protocols, threat intelligence, and attack vectors
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting and documentation
- Ability to work independently during night shifts with minimal supervision
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and threat hunting methodologies
