Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security alerts across multi-cloud environments
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with rapid containment protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Collaborate with incident response teams during after-hours security breaches
- Generate comprehensive threat intelligence reports for executive stakeholders
- Maintain security documentation and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Conduct forensic analysis of sophisticated cyber-attack vectors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in SOC operations or cybersecurity analysis
- Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)
- Experience with threat detection methodologies and MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards
- Ability to work independently during high-pressure night shift scenarios
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
