Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) during overnight hours
- Investigate and escalate potential security incidents with real-time forensic analysis
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop automated threat detection scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with global teams during cross-continental threat response operations
- Document security incidents and maintain compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and security tools
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and container security
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
