Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms and detect/respond to security incidents during night shift hours
- Conduct forensic investigations and malware analysis for threat attribution
- Implement firewall rules, IDS/IPS configurations, and endpoint protection protocols
- Collaborate with global teams during security incidents and incident response drills
- Generate comprehensive security reports and vulnerability assessments
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident escalation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap) and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with Windows/Linux system hardening and security configuration
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work independently during night shifts
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with minimal supervision
