Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct forensic analysis of security events and implement containment protocols
- Perform vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud environments
- Collaborate with global teams during incident escalation and resolution
- Develop automated playbooks for threat hunting and mitigation workflows
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
- Stay current with emerging threats via continuous threat intelligence feeds
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years SOC experience with night shift or rotational schedule
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS) and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and GDPR/CCPA compliance
- Ability to work autonomously in high-pressure situations
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) preferred
