We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite security operations center in San Francisco. This is an urgent hiring opportunity for a threat-savvy professional ready to defend our infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.
In this role, you will act as the guardian of our digital assets, identifying vulnerabilities, responding to active incidents, and ensuring strict compliance with global security standards.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM platforms (Splunk, Elastic, or ArcSight) to identify potential threats.
- Investigate and remediate security breaches, anomalies, and malware infections.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing support.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to enforce security policies and patch management.
- Produce detailed incident reports and security metrics for executive stakeholders.
- Participate in tabletop exercises and red team/blue team exercises.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Security Analyst role.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common attack vectors.
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Familiarity with automated threat hunting and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure during incidents.
- Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance (if applicable).
