Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk and Sentinel.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks before exploitation.
- Manage and remediate vulnerabilities across hybrid on-premise and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Generate detailed security reports and present findings to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike).
- Experience with log management, correlation rules, and security information and event management (SIEM).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
