Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise networks
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement zero-trust architecture solutions
- Analyze security alerts, investigate breaches, and lead forensic investigations
- Stay current with emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies
- Comply with NIST, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of threat intelligence platforms and vulnerability management
- Experience with incident response and forensic investigation tools
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail under pressure
