  • Access Control: Manage and enforce identity and access management (IAM) protocols, ensuring only authorized personnel have access to sensitive data.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA by maintaining accurate documentation and conducting audits.
  • Security Architecture: Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
  • Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH preferred. Active DoD Secret clearance is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Splunk, Splunk), firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point), and endpoint protection.
