Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and create detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and vulnerability patches
- Develop threat intelligence reports to proactively identify emerging risks
- Perform security assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident response playbooks
- Provide 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident response
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or similar environment
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and network security protocols
- Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting techniques
- Experience with incident response methodologies (NIST SP 800-61)
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Ability to thrive under pressure during security incidents
