Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training to staff and conduct regular security audits.
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate incident response reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network architecture.
- Proficiency with security tools (e.g., Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, Snort).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in high-stakes environments.
- Valid US work authorization and ability to work in Los Angeles, CA.
