Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct forensic investigations and detailed incident response procedures for security breaches.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing support, and patch management.
- Enforce corporate security policies and compliance standards (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design and implement robust security architectures.
- Generate comprehensive security reports and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical incident management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a SOC, Security Operations Center, or Information Security role.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networking, Windows Server, and Linux operating systems.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS systems, and Threat Intelligence feeds.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
