Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls and endpoint protection.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents and breaches promptly.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO) and internal policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into development.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related IT field.
- Certifications such as Security+, CEH, or CISSP are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Model, and common network protocols.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication skills to report technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
