Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, endpoints, and network segmentation.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks for rapid threat mitigation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Produce detailed reports on security posture and incident analysis for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, protocols, and threat intelligence.
- Proficiency in security tools like Splunk, FireEye, Snort, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
