Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats using SIEM tools like Splunk and Sentinel.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Respond to and mitigate cybersecurity incidents and breaches in real-time.
- Implement and maintain security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Perform regular audits of network architecture and access controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency with security tools like FireEye, Palo Alto Networks, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Experience with Linux and Windows server environments.
