Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for security incidents and anomalous activity
- Conduct forensic investigations and develop remediation strategies for breaches
- Implement and maintain NIST 800-53 controls for federal compliance
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Lead tabletop exercises for incident response preparedness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience (4+ years)
- Security certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (GCIH/GCFA preferred)
- Expertise in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments and network protocols
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and CMMC compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
