Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and investigate potential cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on client networks and applications
- Develop and maintain security documentation including incident response plans and playbooks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Lead incident response activities including threat hunting, containment, and remediation
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry trends through continuous research
- Present security findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel 10% of the time
