Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including incident response plans
- Investigate security breaches and coordinate forensic analysis
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and harden systems
- Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or security analyst role
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid U.S. work authorization required
