Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/QRadar)
- Conduct threat hunting and incident response for malware and intrusion attempts
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies, reports)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and patches
- Lead forensic investigations of security incidents
- Provide quarterly security awareness training to staff
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA)
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize threats
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
