Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems, networks, and cloud environments using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents, analyze alerts, and execute response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (policies, playbooks, reports)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Stay current with threat intelligence and emerging attack vectors
- Participate in security audits and compliance initiatives (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- Security certifications (CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection platforms
- Experience with threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and cloud architectures (AWS/Azure)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 security operations environment
