We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to monitor security events, investigate anomalies, and drive continuous improvement in our security posture.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct thorough investigations into security incidents, including malware analysis, phishing attempts, and unauthorized access.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Enforce and maintain compliance with industry standards such as NIST, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT operations and development teams to implement security patches and secure configurations.
- Generate and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and security technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Certification preferred: CISSP, Security+, CEH, GCFA, or GCIH.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, VPNs, and routing protocols.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and endpoint detection systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, 24/7 operational environment.
