Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec) for real-time threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and runbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement zero-trust architecture solutions
- Lead forensic investigations of security breaches and cyber incidents
- Generate executive-level security reports and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with SIEM tools and threat detection
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification (required)
- Proficiency in network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and compliance frameworks (NIST, HIPAA)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during incidents
