Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for anomalous activity
- Investigate and respond to security incidents using incident response protocols
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Generate comprehensive security reports for stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with network protocols and cloud security frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
