Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to identify potential threats
- Conduct digital forensic investigations and incident response coordination during security breaches
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python or PowerShell
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and hardening measures
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders and compliance teams
- Stay current with threat intelligence feeds and emerging attack vectors
Qualifications
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or GIAC certification preferred
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), and endpoint protection
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and NIST frameworks
- Strong analytical skills and ability to correlate data across multiple sources
- Familiarity with compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
