Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Analyze network traffic for anomalies and potential breaches
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay current on emerging threats and threat intelligence
- Prepare incident response reports and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or threat detection
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and firewalls
- Experience with Linux/Windows environments and network protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure incident response scenarios
