Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Monitor SIEM dashboards for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead and execute incident response plans to contain and mitigate security breaches.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability scans and manage patch cycles to reduce exposure.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to NIST, CIS, and other relevant security frameworks and regulations.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) within the network environment.
- Security Awareness: Collaborate with HR to train employees on security best practices and phishing prevention.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network security.
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP preferred.
- Tools: Proficiency in Splunk, FireEye, Snort, or similar security tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings.
- Logic: Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
