Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to detect and respond to real-time threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across network infrastructure
- Develop and implement security policies compliant with NIST and ISO 27001 standards
- Lead incident response investigations for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Prepare executive-level security reports and risk mitigation strategies
- Stay current with emerging threats through continuous research and threat intelligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability scanners
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills with ability to document complex security scenarios
- Valid North Carolina driver's license for occasional client site visits
