Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop, test, and maintain incident response plans and playbooks to minimize downtime.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and NIST frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to implement security patches and secure configurations.
- Perform regular security audits and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a SOC or similar security operations role.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, FireEye, CrowdStrike, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
