Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations and incident response for security breaches
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and mitigate risks
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive stakeholders
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security tools
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and encryption standards
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance requirements (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
