Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate security incidents and coordinate response with cross-functional teams
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation and incident response plans
- Implement security controls and ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance application security
- Stay current on emerging threats and security technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in cybersecurity or information security roles
- Experience with SIEM platforms, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and system architectures
- Security certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+) preferred
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
