Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and policy guidelines aligned with NIST, EU AI Act, and evolving global standards
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for AI deployments across healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional working groups to integrate ethical considerations into AI development lifecycles
- Advocate for responsible AI adoption through stakeholder engagement with regulatory bodies and industry coalitions
- Design transparency and explainability protocols for high-stakes AI decision-making systems
- Monitor emerging AI legislation and advise on proactive compliance strategies
- Train leadership teams on ethical AI implementation and governance best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Public Policy, Computer Science, or Juris Doctor with focus on technology law
- 5+ years in AI ethics, technology policy, or compliance with demonstrable impact on organizational frameworks
- Expertise in global AI regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights, OECD principles)
- Proficiency in conducting algorithmic bias audits and ethical risk assessments
- Exceptional strategic communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience collaborating with engineering teams on ethical AI implementation
- Published work or thought leadership in AI ethics, responsible innovation, or technology policy
