Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics governance frameworks for autonomous systems
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and risk assessments for machine learning models
- Partner with engineering teams to embed ethical design principles in AI development lifecycles
- Advocate for responsible AI practices through stakeholder education and policy recommendations
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes and adapt compliance strategies accordingly
- Lead cross-functional working groups on AI transparency and accountability initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in AI governance, compliance, or ethical technology development
- Proficiency with bias detection tools (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360, Google What-If Tool)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Strong background in machine learning model lifecycle management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification) highly desirable
