This role combines technical expertise with strategic vision to build frameworks that balance innovation with human-centric values. You'll work with cross-functional teams to develop industry-leading standards for AI transparency, accountability, and bias mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory requirements
- Lead cross-functional working groups to audit AI systems for fairness, transparency, and accountability
- Develop governance protocols for generative AI and autonomous decision-making systems
- Create stakeholder engagement strategies for communicating AI ethics initiatives to diverse audiences
- Conduct risk assessments for emerging AI technologies including quantum computing applications
- Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms for ethical AI performance metrics
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in industry forums and regulatory discussions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in AI governance, data ethics, or responsible tech leadership roles
- Deep expertise in AI ethics frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Proven experience developing governance policies for large-scale AI deployments
- Strong understanding of bias detection, fairness metrics, and explainable AI techniques
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and industry coalitions on AI standards
