Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and emerging biotech interfaces
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members quarterly
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused technology investments
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in our innovation lab
- Represent company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build interdisciplinary innovation networks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurist/innovation leadership roles
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence technologies
- Executive-level presentation skills with published industry thought leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across R&D, product, and marketing
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical AI frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
