Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, neurotech) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market readiness
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product specifications
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on technology's societal impact
- Partner with venture capital teams to evaluate next-gen startup investments
- Represent the company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Mentor R&D teams in implementing foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of Gartner Hype Cycle and Toffler's Future Shock principles
- Published author in tech foresight publications (e.g., MIT Technology Review)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain government contracts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/CFP)
