Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop technology roadmaps and strategic frameworks aligned with long-term business objectives
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, spatial web)
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and research consortia
- Anticipate ethical implications and regulatory challenges of future technologies
- Drive cross-functional workshops to embed futuristic thinking into product development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, etc.)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing strategic decisions
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, startups, research institutions)
- Published thought leadership on future technology trends preferred
