Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in frontier technologies including quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-proof technologies into core business operations
- Establish innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and validation of emerging technologies
- Build and lead a specialized team of futurist researchers and technology architects
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and technology pioneers
- Present technology vision to stakeholders through compelling executive briefings and roadmaps
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurist or emerging technologies leadership
- Proven track record architecting technology roadmaps for 2025+ horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two frontier technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience building and leading high-performing innovation teams
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
