Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze global trends and geopolitical shifts to identify strategic opportunities
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and key stakeholders
- Manage a portfolio of moonshot projects with $5M+ budgets
- Build and lead a specialized innovation lab team
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products/services
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains (e.g., climate tech, neuro interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or emerging technologies
- Experience managing distributed R&D teams
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
