Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biometric interfaces
- Lead 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify emerging tech disruptors and patent opportunities
- Direct cross-functional teams of 15+ engineers in prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members quarterly with actionable insights
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget across R&D partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich
- Drive patent strategy targeting 50+ filings in AI ethics and neurotech by 2026
- Organize annual 'Future Forward' summit featuring global tech pioneers and policymakers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Systems Engineering, or Computational Physics (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation roles at Fortune 500 tech companies or unicorn startups
- Proven track record of launching products with $50M+ ARR (provide case studies)
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and generative AI ethics frameworks
- Published futurist research in journals like Future Studies or Technological Forecasting
- Security clearance eligibility (government partnerships require background checks)
- Proficiency in foresight tools like Trendalyzer, Gartner Hype Cycle, and Delphi Method
