Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects
- Document bugs using JIRA with clear severity levels and reproduction steps
- Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and implement fixes
- Perform regression testing on web/mobile applications across browsers/devices
- Analyze test results and provide actionable improvement recommendations
- Participate in Agile sprint planning and review ceremonies
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and metrics
Qualifications
- 2+ years of manual QA/testing experience with web/mobile applications
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management systems
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and precision
- Experience writing test cases and test plans
- Basic knowledge of SQL and API testing (Postman, RestAssured)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus
